Sunnee was born in Corning, NY and raised in Northern Tier PA. She met her husband (Senior Pastor Harry Dow) at a Free Methodist church camp. They were married in 1970 in Elkland, PA. That marriage has been blessed with three wonderful sons; Chad, married to Laura and both school teachers in Rochester, NY; James, married to Stephanie - James is a school teacher in Syracuse, NY - James and Stephanie have blessed Harry & Sunnee with three beautiful grandchildren; Isaac, Grace and Anna; and Luke (their youngest son) who lives and works in Philadelphia and shows his musical talent through singing and playing the guitar.

Sunnee likes to read, entertain guests in their home, go antiquing with her husband and take drives through the beautiful Lancaster country side. Since they are in the "empty nest" mode, they decided to acquire a Chinese Pug (Rosey) who takes Harry and Sunnee for long walks (to keep them young) and keeps them laughing at some of her antics.
       Sunnee is involved in calling and Bible studies with her husband and works several days in the church office lending a hand where needed. Moving to Lancaster County was a good move and has provided them with many new friends in the church and the community.
